Which gaming system should I buy?

Between the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, or the Xbox 360, which should you buy.  There are several differences between each system.  Games made for one system may not come on another system, so you may want to do some reasearch on them before any definite decisions are made.  In this newsletter, we will be describing the 3 systems and which one you should get for that Christmas buying season.

Sony Playstation 3     This system is for you truly die hard fans of Ratchet and Clank, or for the people who just want an extremely high quality Blu-Ray player.  The PS3 is currently $400 for the non HDMI version and smaller hard drive.  The $500 version has an 80 GB hard drive and can be connected to an HDMI port for the best high quality 1080p experience.  The games are moderate as of right now.  Eventually when more games are made and a bigger fan base is created, the PS3 should be the unbeatable system that its predecessor PS2 was.

Nintendo Wii    The Nintendo Wii, in my opinion, is one of the most revolutionary gaming systems ever made.  With a wireless controller that is also motion sensitive, Nintendo has managed to keeps its newest system in the running with the other next-gen systems.  From the amazing Wii Sports to Metroid Prime 3, the Wii was designed for awe-inspiring feats.  Intuitive controls are not only reason to buy this system.  The price tag is at a small $250.  The only downfall is that there is no high defenition with the Wii.  Also, this will be the second year in a row that this system has become hard to find.

Microsoft Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is the oldest of the next-gen systems.  With prices ranging from $250 to $400, there is a wide variety of versions that you can buy.  Models with a 20GB hard drive to a huge 120GB hard drive along with HDMI support and even an HDDVD drive that you can buy with it is all available.  It can link up to your Media Center PC and be used as an extender for your television.  It can stream audio, video, and pictures over your network connection.  And with a large stock of games, this system is a tough competitor in the next-gen race.

With each system having wireless controllers, network capability, and internal storage, every system has something to offer the gaming public.  When it comes right down to it, you have to pick a system that has the great games: past, present, and future.  Without the games, you end up getting a system that is more of a paperweight than a gaming experience.  My recommendation: Nintendo Wii.
